And it’s true. Maybe you’ve heard of the little digital tool called Wiki. Or remember when Converse had enthusiasts create and send in 24-second films for the chance to have the best one become a nationally televised ad? Or how Converse allows shoppers to design their own shoes.
We can customize anything we want…not just shoes, but our haircut, what we drink, the players on our team. We no longer have to settle for just “being like Mike.” We can just be him.
Connectivity. Participation. We all crave it. And we’re getting good at it.

Good stuff, BTW, my buddy Steve had his Converse commercial air nation-wide. Did you ever see the one where the dude’s on an old school bike with a banana seat and he jumps over a row of Chucks…that was his.
